First: Directorate of Legal Affairs:

The directorate shall be managed by an employee of at least the second level who holds a first university degree in law and has service in the field of the directorate’s work for a period of not less than 15 years.

The Directorate undertakes the following tasks

1. Representing the Authority before judicial courts, ministries, and entities not affiliated with a ministry in the capacity of legal representation, following up on the rulings and decisions that determine the Authority’s right to compensation or inclusion, and taking the necessary measures to implement them.
2.  Legal regulation of properties and real estate leased or owned by the Authority and organizing their transactions.
3. Providing legal advice on all applicable legislation and laws and organizing and drafting contracts related to the Authority’s work.
4.  Approval of the relevant legal undertakings related to the Authority’s work.
5. Participate in investigative committees, implement their recommendations, follow up on company violations, warn them, and follow up on the implementation of the penalties attached to each violation in accordance with the law.
6. Proposing legal recommendations regarding joining international agreements and treaties in light of applicable national laws.
