Fourth: The Security Permits Office undertakes the following tasks:
- Implementing the policies and instructions issued by the National Security Permits Office.
- Granting a security clearance to all employees of the Authority (employees, contracts, employees, daily wages) in coordination and cooperation with the National Office for Security Clearances.
- Granting a security clearance to all companies and non-governmental entities contracting with the Authority or requesting to obtain any of the permits and licenses granted by the Authority.
- Follow up on people whose security clearance was rejected.
- Issuing permits and authorizations for people (employees, auditors), personnel, and materials, and following them up.
- Managing inquiries, monitoring ports, and organizing the entry and exit process to and from the Authority and its locations.
- Managing the civil defense divisions and developing the necessary plans to address any dangers to which the organization may be exposed.
- Managing wired and wireless communication devices and monitoring the camera system on an ongoing basis.
- Establishing procedures to secure and protect (buildings, individuals, information, devices and equipment) from any damage or security breach.
- Coordination with the Authority’s Protection Force to develop plans to secure the Authority from external security breaches.
